AEM di piazza Po a Milano, il Comune di Rho è stato rappresentato
dall’assessora all’Ambiente Valentina Giro al forum “Quale
Energia?”, organizzato da Legambiente Lombardia per promuovere il
dibattito sull’energia, facendo anche un punto sulle performance dei
Comuni nell’ampio scenario delle energie rinnovabili. QUI articolo precedente.
Il convegno ha permesso di riflettere su obiettivi e investimenti indispensabili per attivare la transizione energetica nei territori, partendo dalle città. Una sessione è stata dedicata anche al tema della transizione energetica degli edifici, rivolta a cittadini e amministratori di condominio. All’evento sono stati invitati enti locali, imprese, associazioni d’impresa e del Terzo Settore. Barbara Meggetto, presidente di Legambiente Lombardia, ha
avviato i lavori con Elena Grandi, assessora ad Ambiente e Verde
per il Comune di Milano. Numerosi gli ospiti delle istituzioni e di enti per
parlare di sostenibilità anche dal punto di vista sociale. La giornata di studio
si è conclusa con la consegna degli attestati di riconoscimento ai “Comuni
Rinnovabili”. Secondo il rapporto nazionale “Comuni Rinnovabili
2023” diramato in giugno da Legambiente, la Lombardia risulta essere la prima
regione per crescita delle energie rinnovabili. Rho si colloca al
primo posto in Lombardia con 7.545 KW di nuovo installato, per la maggior
parte dei casi, impianti fotovoltaici collocati su coperture di edifici. Il
peso maggiore lo ha il polo espositivo di Fiera Milano: Fair-Renew, una joint
venture tra Fondazione Fiera Milano e A2A rinnovabili, ha collocato 26.000
pannelli sui padiglioni monoplanari e sui magazzini dock Est e dock Ovest del
quartiere fieristico, per una superficie pari a circa 27 campi da calcio per
una potenza complessiva di 8,2 MWp. Durante il 2022 l’impianto ha prodotto
8,7 GWh di energia, evitando l’emissione di 3.586 tonnellate di CO2, pari
alla capacità di assorbimento di circa 163.000 di alberi. Per la fine del
2024 è previsto il completamento dell'impianto che, al termine dei lavori,
erogherà una potenza complessiva pari a 15,7 MWp grazie a un totale di 44.500
pannelli installati. Il Comune di Rho ha
attivato diversi impianti fotovoltaici, i più importanti sulla palestra del
Molinello e sulle scuole Bonecchi e Tommaso Grossi. I pannelli sono attivi
anche sulle scuole di via San Giorgio e sulle case comunali di via Pavese. Barbara
Meggetto ha consegnato l’attestato all’assessora Valentina Giro,
che così commenta: “Ringraziamo Legambiente
per il riconoscimento e per l’approfondimento sul tema dell’energia. Il
Comune di Rho porta avanti da tempo politiche per la produzione di energia
pulita, un impegno che continua con questa amministrazione. La sfida? Rendere
la nostra città sostenibile, in linea con gli obiettivi di decarbonizzazione

The study day ended with the delivery of the certificates of
recognition to the "Renewable Municipalities". According to the

avoiding the emission of 3,586 tons of CO2, equal to the absorption capacity of

of 2024 which, at the end of the works, will deliver a total power of 15.7 MWp
thanks to a total of 44,500 panels installed.
The Municipality of Rho has activated various photovoltaic
systems, the most important on the Molinello gymnasium and on the Bonecchi and
Tommaso Grossi schools. The panels are also active on the schools in via San
Giorgio and on the municipal houses in via Pavese.
Testing of 81 KW panels on the roof of the Molinello
swimming facility is expected by 30 September thanks to the awarding of a
tender from the Lombardy Region and new interventions are planned for the
future.
