“È con gratitudine e commozione che vogliamo condividere con
tutti questa splendida notizia: il prossimo 24 marzo il Presidente della
Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, consegnerà ad Alberto Bonfanti, in quanto
Presidente della rete di “Portofranco Italia” (un Centro di aiuto allo studio
gratuito per tutti gli studenti e tra i progetti più significativi del Centro
di Solidarietà di Rho) l’onorificenza al Merito della Repubblica italiana, che
il Presidente della Repubblica concede motu proprio “a cittadine e cittadini
che si sono distinti per un’imprenditoria etica, per l’impegno a favore dei
detenuti, per la solidarietà, per il volontariato, per attività in favore
dell’inclusione sociale, della legalità, del diritto alla salute e per atti di
eroismo” con questo messaggio di orgoglio il Centro di Solidarietà di Rho
annuncia questo importante momento per la propria comunità.

Per Maria Murgida e Marco Martini ai quali è dedicato il Centro di Solidarietà di Rho, per don Giussani che ha generato tanti di noi e la storia da cui il Centro di Solidarietà e Portofranco traggono origine, per ciascuno dei tanti volontari ognuno dei quali è una goccia in quel mare di gratuità che oggi viene riconosciuto dalla più alta carica dello stato italiano.
