Resoconto 2022/2023 e passaggio di consegne.

Un anno importante quello appena trascorso per il Lions Club di Lainate presieduto da Marika Cittera, così riassunto: “nel corso dell’anno 2022/2023 i 37 soci Lions Club di Lainate, si sono impegnati per la comunità e non solo, dedicando complessivamente più di 5000 ore di volontariato diretto a più di 16.000 persone con 70 iniziative. Il Club si è impegnato nel sociale con la storica raccolta degli occhiali usati, il programma cani guida e l’UTE di Lainate. Un importante iniziativa che è proseguita anche quest’anno è stata la raccolta delle eccedenze alimentari sul territorio. Inoltre abbiamo contribuito al sostegno dei piccoli pazienti del reparto di oncologia pediatrica della Fondazione Veronesi. Un’altra iniziativa importante è stata quello nel mondo dell’Istruzione con Borse di Studio, Alternanza scuola lavoro e Orientamento per le scuole di primo e secondo grado e tantissime altre iniziative che hanno permesso di raccogliere fondi”.

Un anno straordinario è quello appena trascorso, ma come tutti i Club, anche a Lainate, ogni anno deve esserci un cambio alla presidenza e al direttivo, uno stimolo importante sempre con lo sguardo al futuro, ma senza dimenticare il presente-passato. Il nuovo presidente Lions Club Lainate anno 2023-2024 sarà Pietro Cacciamani, che ha le idee chiare: “Dopo dieci anni di laionismo mi è stata data la possibilità di presiedere il club Lions di Lainate uno dei club Lions più importanti della zona per quanto riguarda il servizio ai più bisognosi e soprattutto per la visione verso il futuro impegnandosi molto spesso nei confronti dei ragazzi con ad esempio l'orientamento per ragazzi delle superiori e delle medie piuttosto che lezioni di vario genere per dare indicazioni più precise sul futuro di questi ragazzi  quale università o scuola superiore scegliere per non sbagliare e per non buttare via quindi anni Preziosi. molto importante è anche il supporto con varie iniziative all'ospedale Buzzi ospedale dei bambini nonché ai vari screening tra cui il mio il mio odontoiatrico all'interno delle scuole elementari di Lainate”.

“Questo è stato quello che mi ha dato l'input positivo per poter provare questa nuova esperienza in quanto è risaputo che il mio impegno verso bambini e ragazzi è sempre stato totale poiché ritengo che il nostro prodotto futuro debba essere anche un po' indirizzato da noi adulti invece di criticare i giovani per come sono e per come si comportano. E’ risaputo che il mio impegno nei confronti dei giovani mi ha portato ad essere presidente del Biringhello da ormai 30 anni a questa parte quindi questo mi ha dato oltre che la possibilità di conoscere una fascia d'età fondamentale quella che va dai cinque anni fino ai 18 anni di capire com'è strutturato l'associazionismo e il volontariato nelle società sportive ma questo si rispecchia in molti casi anche in un Lions Club”.

“Il mio intento è di mantenere tutto ciò che di buono è stato fatto in questi 39 anni ....quindi l'anno prossimo sarà il quarantesimo anno del Lions club di Lainate e vorremmo festeggiarlo nel miglior modo possibile . inoltre spero di riuscire  a portare anche un po' del mio entusiasmo  delle mie energie nonché esperienze a supporto di tutto ciò di buono che è stato fatto fino ad oggi dalla presidente uscente Marika Cittera” ha concluso il presidente Pietro Cacciamani.

“This was what gave me the positive input to be able to try this new experience as it is known that my commitment to children and teenagers has always been total as I believe that our future product must also be a little directed by us adults instead of criticizing young people for how they are and how they behave. It is well known that my commitment to young people has led me to be president of Biringhello for the past 30 years now, so this has given me not only the possibility of getting to know a fundamental age group, the one that goes from five years to 18 years of age to understand how associations and voluntary work are structured in sports clubs but this is also reflected in many cases in a Lions Club”.
