“Poco più di una settimana fa abbiamo espresso il nostro entusiasmo per il Biblio Party, una festa che ha visto l’Agorà accogliere tantissimi giovani per la festa di fine sessione. Un grande momento di socialità, organizzato insieme a YoungDoIt e agli studenti stessi, che ha dato l’idea di come intendiamo coinvolgere i giovani nella programmazione a loro dedicata. Ora abbiamo appreso che il progetto “Enjoy Agorà In & Out” presentato a ottobre 2022 nell’ambito dell’“Avviso pubblico Giovani in Biblioteca” emesso dalla Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri – Dipartimento per le politiche giovanili e il servizio civile universale – sarà finanziato con 100 mila e 150,00 euro”.

“Il progetto punta a realizzare una serie di iniziative per favorire una “contaminazione” tra i giovani che frequentano due ambienti caratteristici del nostro territorio (l’Agorà, il Centro civico in cui ha sede la Biblioteca comunale, e lo spazio giovani YoungDoIt) e una più ampia partecipazione di tutti i giovani alla vita comunitaria. Tante proposte laboratoriali artistiche, musicali, formative per supportare i giovani nel processo di crescita personale e di partecipazione attiva, ma anche eventi culturali, come concerti e spettacoli, dedicati ai giovani. Infine, è prevista una riorganizzazione degli spazi all’aperto e all’interno, con il coinvolgimento e la partecipazione diretta di ragazzi e ragazzi nello sviluppo del progetto, “destrutturando” alcune aree, per vivere pienamente la biblioteca, non solo come posto per lo studio o per leggere un libro, ma come spazio per rilassarsi con gli amici, parlare, cooperare”.

“Ringraziamo chi ha creduto con noi in questo progetto, ovvero l’Associazione Barabba’s clown onlus, che ha sottoscritto un accordo di partenariato con il Comune di Arese per il bando e lo staff dell’Agorà per aver redatto un progetto completo e strutturato nei tempi previsti. Un grande segnale della professionalità e della passione delle persone che lavorano in Biblioteca”.

“Da settembre, concluse le formalità amministrative, ci metteremo al lavoro per una co-progettazione che, ancora una volta, renda protagonisti i giovani in un luogo che è un fiore all’occhiello per la nostra città” hanno dichiarato l’Assessora alla Cultura Denise Scupola e il Sindaco Luca Nuvoli.
